Who Are We?
Ochre Strokes was founded by Mununjali and Noonuccal creative Stevi Knagge, whose extensive experience in mainstream media exposed a significant gap in authentic First Nations representation within marketing, communications, and events. From this insight, Ochre Strokes was born — a proudly First Nations-owned full-service creative agency committed to elevating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices and culture through impactful storytelling and culturally grounded solutions.

Based in Meanjin and working in close collaboration with clients nationwide — including on Ngunnawal Country (Canberra) — we partner with First Nations organisations, government bodies, businesses, and campaigns to deliver a comprehensive suite of services: strategic communications, media production, graphic design, community engagement, event design and management, and campaign rollout.
